Frequently asked questions
How many drinks per person do you need for a party?
As a rule of thumb about 0.5 litres in the first hour and around 0.35 litres for every further hour. For 5 hours that is about 1.9 litres per person, a bit more with a buffer.
How much water, beer and wine?
The calculator splits by your alcohol share: non-alcoholic two thirds water and spritzers and one third soft drinks, alcoholic 60 % beer and 40 % wine or sparkling wine. Adjust the amounts to taste.
Why is there a summer surcharge?
In heat or outdoors guests drink much more. The "summer" box adds 20 %.
What about coffee, tea and children?
Coffee and tea are not included. For children set the alcohol share to 0, then the calculator only counts water, spritzers and juice.
